Jess is a mother of three, living in the beautiful rural New South Wales, Hunter Valley of Australia. With a love for animals and farming, she and her husband (Tom) run an agricultural based trucking company.  As a result, the children have grown up with a love for all things related to trucks.  'Tom the Truck Driver' is her first book, inspired by hardworking truck drivers and their trucks.  She wanted to share this story with all the truck-loving, adventurous kids out there.

Tom has been a trucker since 2017. He and Jess own and run the trucking company T & J Carrigan Trucking, and Tom drives his Kenworth T659 across Australia.​
